Frequently asked questions

Clayleo, answered directly.

Everything about the autonomous company platform — pricing, spend approvals, validation, and what the agents actually do.

What is Clayleo?

Clayleo is an autonomous company platform: you describe a business in one sentence, and AI agents validate the idea, build the company, and run it day to day — website, ads, leads, email, and products — while every dollar of spend waits for your one-click approval.

What is an autonomous company platform?

An autonomous company platform is software where AI agents own entire business roles — designer, marketer, salesperson, support — rather than assisting a human with tasks. The founder sets direction and approves spending; the agents do the daily work of running the company.

How much does Clayleo cost?

Clayleo is pay-as-you-go with wallet credits, and new accounts get $5 of free credit at signup. Monthly plans add bonus credits: Starter is $20/month for $22 in credits, Growth is $100/month for $115, and Scale is $200/month for $240. You can also earn up to $20 in credits by sharing Clayleo on social platforms ($5 per platform).

Can Clayleo agents spend money without my approval?

No. Every paid action queues for your one-click sign-off, itemized to the cent, before any money moves. Ad campaigns run under hard per-campaign budget caps, and if your wallet balance reaches zero, agents pause instead of overdrawing.

What does Clayleo actually build for my company?

From one sentence, Clayleo ships a live website on its own subdomain, provisions a working mailbox, sets up real Google Ads campaigns with budget caps, generates ad images and video, builds ranked lead lists from people already asking for what you sell, and sources dropshipping products scored on margin, demand, and shipping.

How does Clayleo validate a business idea?

Before anything is built, Clayleo researches the market, finds competitors, drafts a lean canvas, and scores the idea from 0 to 100 with one of three verdicts: proceed, iterate, or kill. Weak ideas die at the validation gate instead of costing you months of build time.

How is Clayleo different from Lovable, Bolt, or v0?

App builders like Lovable, Bolt, and v0 turn a prompt into software — a website or an app — and stop there. Clayleo builds the business around the software: it validates the idea first, then runs marketing, sales, support, and product sourcing with specialist agents, all under your spending approval. The output is a running company, not just a deployed site.

Do I own the company Clayleo builds?

Yes. The business, its revenue, its customers, and its data are yours. Clayleo charges wallet credits for the agent work it performs — it does not take equity or a revenue share.

What happens after my company is built?

Specialist agents keep shipping daily: redesigning pages on request, running and adjusting ads, replying to email, and queueing paid tasks for your approval. You watch it all in a live operations feed and step in only to decide, not to operate.

Can I import my existing business into Clayleo?

Yes. You can bring an existing company onto Clayleo instead of starting from a sentence, and connectors bring your tools with you — Gmail, Google Drive, Docs, Notion, Slack, and more — so agents work with your real context, files, and inbox from day one.

Do I need a Google Ads account to run ads?

No. Clayleo sets up and runs Google Ads campaigns for you automatically — no ad account of your own required. Every campaign runs under a hard budget cap you set, with an autonomy dial from draft-only (you approve each ad) to fully self-serve.

Do I need coding experience to use Clayleo?

No. Agents write, deploy, and maintain all of the code — the website, the storefront, the integrations. You direct them in plain language: "make the hero shorter" is a valid instruction, and so is a one-sentence business idea.

Does Clayleo handle payments and banking?

Yes. Clayleo partners with Stripe Connect, so your company can take real payments from customers and the revenue flows to your own account. Your Clayleo wallet (for agent work) and your business revenue are kept completely separate.

How do I withdraw the money my company earns?

Connect your bank account through Stripe Connect and withdraw your revenue directly. The money your company makes is yours — it never sits in your Clayleo wallet, which is only used to pay for agent work.

Does Clayleo support email and custom domains?

Yes. Every company gets a working mailbox the moment it is created, agents draft and answer email for you, and sending from your own domain takes a single DNS record. Your site ships on its own subdomain and can move to a custom domain.

Does Clayleo integrate with Slack?

Yes. Slack is one of the available connectors, alongside Gmail, Google Drive, Notion, and others — connect your workspace and agents can work with the tools your business already runs on.

Can Clayleo incorporate my company?

Not yet — incorporation support is coming soon. Today you bring the legal entity and Clayleo runs the operations: the website, marketing, sales, support, and product sourcing.

How do I try Clayleo for free?

Sign up and describe your idea in one sentence — validation runs on the $5 of free signup credit. You can extend your runway to $25 total by claiming the share-and-earn rewards ($5 for posting about Clayleo on each of X, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn) before paying anything.
